Old Sam's bathing costume vs. new

What are the differences between the new one and the old one?

I have the old one and have only seen pictures of the new one...but there are a few things that I could see off the bat. First of all, the hat. The first one was a straw hat and now there is a cloth hat. There is also a new parisol or unbrella that didn't exist before. Another thing is the trim along the bathing suite seems to be different. And lastly, I think that the material is slightly different, but I am not sure.

I think the new outfit has more of a beach feel to it. The older looks more Piney Point-ish. That's the only reason I prefer the original.

The first set didn't come with stockings, the first skirt was open in the front so you could see the bloomers underneath, it looks like the buttons are spaced a little differently, and the print on the buoy is a little thicker in the first set. Can you tell I've really been comparing pictures? [img]redface.gif[/img]

As usual, I much more perfer the older, pre-Mattel version. And your right Felicity+Addy Fan-it has a MUCH more beach feel to it.

I like the new hat better than the old one. I am glad the outfits are different so you can easily distinguish between the different versions.
